Celia & Hugh’s French fairytale wedding was the epitome of understated elegance, as relaxed summer vibes met refined beauty against the stunning backdrop of the Loire Valley.
An Aussie and a Kiwi, the lovers took a leap of faith and made their home together in Paris, the city of lights, where Hugh plays for the French rugby team Stade Français. And so on a sun-blessed summer’s day, the couple gathered their beloved friends and family from across the globe to celebrate in their second home.
Set at the madly romantic Chateau de Jalesnes, the radiant couple outshone the golden sunshine as they bound their lives in a beautiful courtyard ceremony. With loving words from the ones that know them best and an emotional exchange of vows, the newlyweds sealed their union with true loves kiss.
Following a stylish photoshoot amidst dappled lighting and lush woodland, celebrations ensued in true French style with champagne and games on the sprawling lawns before the party gathered for a seriously chic reception.
Tears of joy were contagious during speeches as the overwhelmed groom gave thanks to his beautiful bride and this palpable love overflowed onto to the dance floor where the overjoyed newlyweds danced the night away surrounded by their very favourite people.
