“Being proud of our Korean heritage, we integrated elements of that culture into the wedding,” bride Michelle shares of her nuptials at Blue Hill at Stone Barn. 🇰🇷🤍 “Each guest’s place card featured golden duck chopstick holders, symbolizing peace, family, and fidelity. Korean wooden ducks are traditionally gifted to newlyweds—ducks facing each other signifies harmony, while facing away suggests challenges. We also incorporated baduk stones, a game cherished by Michael’s father, as a personal touch for the table numbers display. Our paper goods, crafted from hanji, traditional Korean handmade paper, further honored our heritage.”
